progress report

My brain is empty. I did good wordcount Sunday morning, then that evening I was empty, even though I tried. I suppose if I'd had another three hours I might have made 500 words. Eventually.

Last night, the resolution to my job search left me limp and brainless. I ate a dinner full of fried things, opened my mail, then sat in the laundry room while my laundry went, reading Empire of Ivory, the newest Naomi Novik.

I hope I can get some writing done tonight, since all time Wednesday night is taken up with choir rehearsal.

Have confirmed hotel stuff for World Fantasy; now need train tickets.
