progress report

736 last night on chapter 6, and though the wordcount of the total chapter is less than I'd like, I plan to go on to chapter 7. I can add more later.

Some nights, your fingers just fly across the keys, like rabbits pursued by wolves.

Last night was not one of those nights.

I wrote a paragraph, played a game of Free Cell, fidgeted, started to write again, was distracted by loud music coming from my downstairs neighbor, finally got my big headphones to shut that out, played Free Cell again, started writing, got a paragraph, played a game of Free Cell...at 506 words, I gave myself a little cheer, but I couldn't stop because I was almost done with the scene. So persistance paid off.
