pimping a friend's group

Last night at the Waterson Carthy concert, I ran into an old friend, Rachel Hall, whom I hadn't seen in a couple of years--we used to sit together in college chamber singers, and she was a founding member of a folk band shortly after I'd graduated. She's now in a a folk trio called Simple Gifts: "Three women playing twelve instruments perform Romanian, Klezmer, Greek, Irish, Scottish, Appalachian, and more."

I was very impressed to learn they now have some downloads on iTunes. You can also listen to some of their songs online.
