time travel writing

Sometimes I look back. I see heaps of words lining the road. The heaps have shape, but they're not architectural. They're not finished. Sometimes I want to go back and tidy up those heaps, maybe build a little dome or pyramid for them to finally settle into.

It's always easier to work with something you already have.
