Philcon 2005

I'm finally back to my computer and can report back on Philcon. I couldn't tell what the attendance was in that enormous hotel, not to mention the secondary programming area over in the "Liberty Ballroom" area (which was really nice). I had a good time with the people I knew, and was able to lend my Seventh Doctor DVDs to paleologa and spend some time squeeing about Dr. Who with her, in between panels.

I went to two parties, one for friends who'd had books published recently and the other a general SFWA event; I had lunch with workshop friends twice; I was reminded of a nonfiction project it was time to revive; K. and I worked a bit on her Lunacon masquerade project; and I obtained another agent's business card, a longshot but what the heck.

I bought a necklace from sidewinder which I am wearing at this moment.

Next year, a new hotel and back to November again, where Philcon truly belongs.
