Qualms come every now and again, when you're writing something. Even if you're piling on the wordcount, even when you've just had a couple of pretty good ideas.

I just was thinking of what I would be writing tonight, and where I left off the scene, and I thought, Oh, God. The whole thing is just a pile of miscellaneous scenes that don't even tie together very well. It could fall apart any minute now, like dropped cat's cradle.

I'm writing it down so next time, I'll know that I thought that, and that it worked out anyway.

This is the zero draft. Of course it hangs together badly. Later it will get themes and character growth to knit everything into a whole.
