BEWITCHING BREWS:
Mata Hari
Her scent is striking and bold with a delicate yet dark undertone: five roses with soft jasmine, warmed by vanilla, fig, tonka bean and mahogany, spiced with a drop of coffee bean.
In the vial: Perfumey, hint of coffee, touch of bitterness that might be the tonka bean or mahoghany? I was surprised I could smell all that.
Wet: Jasmine and rose, sweetness tempered by the bitterness; still smells a bit perfumey. A hot scent.
Drydown: Nicer than before. The jasmine and rose come out more and the whole scent softens, but it's still more perfumey than some of the others I've tried.
Probably not a keeper, but I'll try it once more.
