progress report

500 words last night. I'm still cogitating on the final action scene, and how it's going to work, and it's hard to just plow ahead. So far, I've been noting down my ideas, and I wrote the intro section to that scene, using it to remind the reader of some things about the pov character, and follow up on the previous scene she was in, which wasn't in her pov.

Exciting Wounds!

My male werewolf, who is in the British army during World War One, is going to be injured in the final action scene, which involves destroying an Evil Laboratory infested with Misguided Brainwashed Werewolves. The injury must be severe enough for him to be sent home for a long while, or at least to make the army think he should be invalided out.

Bear in mind that his injuries heal much more quickly when he changes from one form to another, but it takes too much strength to change from one to another several times in succession; once is probably all he can manage. I don't think an amputated limb would grow back, but am willing to be convinced otherwise.
