Back from Arisia!
Fun was had!
Books bought: none! (!!!!!!WTF?!!!!!)
Writing accomplished: none! (sigh)
I have now registered for the annual RWA National Conference in San Francisco, which happens about six months before my novel comes out. It'll be my first RWA event. It's such an enormous Thing, I feel it's pretty much required that I go to one and learn the lay of the land before I have to attend with book in hand.
Anybody else going, who hasn't mentioned it to me already? Or want to hook up in San Francisco this summer?
For complex reasons of the plot, I need a quote from something that is about flowers, that is cheerful/happy rather than the cynical/grim. Poetry or prose, it doesn't matter.
Any suggestions? Favorite poems?
