paid gig

I have an endless and, this morning, loud loop of "All this night shrill Chanticleer, Day's proclaiming trumpeter, claps his wings and loudly cries, 'Mortals, mortals, wake and rise!' See a wonder heaven is under..."

However, the thought of just singing along and maybe making it stop is way too much effort. As if I wanted to pick up a two-liter bottle of coke after three straight days of weight-lifting workouts.

Sold-out crowds for the last three performances. The energy level will rise exponentially both from that and from us being more comfortable with Maestro Harvey's (veryvery fast) tempi. It'll be fun, and for the weekend concerts, I have free time beforehand, so will have more mental rest.

But for now, I want coffee.
