I lifted weights last night! I seem to be recovered from the stomach flu, so I am attempting a new program with weights three times a week, alternating upper and lower body, for the most part. It starts at a fairly low weight, which is good since I've been away from workouts since May 13th (well, I did 3 nights of cardio last week, and there was that disastrous, too-soon attempt on May 30th).
I feel pretty okay today. I don't think it was enough to really make me sore, but who knows, given the time off?
Regardless, I am glad to be back at it. I was worried I would just...stop going. That would be bad.
