Because after the deadlifts, my lower back felt all funny and I could hardly bend over to wrestle the plates off the barbell. I had to go sit on the mat and stretch and rest a bit. I decided against doing rows, but I did go ahead and do my elliptical time, in the hope that would help stretch me out, too. And I felt okay by the time I was done with that, though exhausted. But this morning, my shoulders and back are already stiff.
I'm really glad it's Friday. I'm wearing my black boots, for the first time since last winter. Boots always cheer me up.
