I upped my weights a bit more last night. For the machines, I've been "cheating" a little the last few times, as in upping the weight for a few reps even though I only count the weight at which I do most of the reps. Last night, I went up for all reps on the chest press. For squats, I added 10 pounds for two sets, then tried ten more for one set. That might have been a little ambitious, as I am already stiff and it's only been about 14 hours. Oops. But it is stilly happy-making to me that I did 15 squats while holding 165 pounds on my shoulders, and was still able to gently replace the bar in the rack. With a spotter, I wonder how much I could lift, in one go?
