That sore throat I had at Readercon did turn out to be a virus - I got home just after midnight Sunday, and when I woke up Monday morning, I had little ulcers visible, though I couldn't tell that's what they were. I went to the doctor and had a swab to make sure it wasn't strep, then went back home and pretty much slept the rest of that day and most of the next. I ate a lot of vanilla ice cream and lime popsicles.
So, not much accomplished since my return beyond dumping my dirty clothes into a laundry basket. I still need to clean out the knapsack I brought with me to Readercon, and do laundry, and get myself going on the story I have to finish next month.
But I had a good con, and I think my panels went well. And I'm feeling a bit better. Planning to take it easy for a couple of days.
