I WROTE!!!!!

My long-simmering cold finally turned my nose into a faucet on Saturday, so I spent the whole weekend feeling crappy.

Saturday morning, I wrote. I made some decisions about the sad carcass of The Moonlight Marriage, ripped out some more words, and then added some new words. At least two pages of new words. My nose dripped the entire time, but it is new words on the project I need to finish so I can move the hell on and write something new. (I have a maximum of 20,000 words this time, which is one reason it's been so hard for me to rework what was planned as a novel.)

It won't be the beautifully crafted complex novel I had planned. But it will, eventually, be done.

*blows nose again*

It gives me hope. So there.
