Dr. Who Series 5

I finally, finally, finally finished watching season five of Dr. Who last night.

Yes, you may all be shocked it took me this long. I wanted to make sure to see the last two in quick succession, you see, since I knew there was a terrible cliffhanger after "The Pandorica Opens," and I don't feel strong enough to deliberately string such a thing out. It was bad enough I waited so long to start watching the series, and stretched it out so much!

In the end, I loved the new series, but I just wasn't as moved by the very end as much as I wish I had been. I never doubted everything would, somehow, all come right, so while watching I didn't have the intense tension that sometimes makes the show terrible as well as beautiful.

Though, throughout the series, I did worry about Rory quite a lot. And maybe that was the point.
