Snafus don't mean it's bad.

The venue for the Monteverdi concert this weekend had a breakdown of its heating system, so the concert's been moved. (It's going down in the forties this weekend, plus there's the issue of period instruments which have trouble staying in tune even when it's the exact right temperature.) Luckily, we have almost a whole week to publicize the change. That's good, right? In less convenient news, this also means we'll have to cram into St. Mark's for the dress rehearsals, since the new venue won't be available at those times. Hopefully I won't get brained by a sackbut or something.

Today's release day for The Duke & The Pirate Queen. You can enter the GoodReads contest to try and win one of five copies between now and December 31.

Also, I'm guestblogging for Ella Drake on "The World Beyond the Story."
