Next week I am taking vacation and I plan to read. Lots and lots. Hardcovers will have priority, since I've been saving some of those for quite a while, partly because I wanted to read them uninterrupted and partly because they are heavy to carry around all day in my messenger bag.
First up will likely be Sarah Monette's Corambis. The new Lois McMaster Bujold, Cryoburn hasn't waited as long as some of the others, so Im going to try and push it further down the list. We'll see. I also have the latest Naomi Novik, Tongues of Serpents. I also want to read Sherwood Smith's Treason's Shore, the last in the Inda series, but I might save it for a little while longer, as I read the previous one fairly recently. Not sure yet. Part of the fun will be picking out what to read.
Less heavy hardcovers in the TBR include The Hearts of Horses by Molly Gloss, Lavinia by Ursula LeGuin, and an array of Young Adult fantasy.
If you were taking a reading vacation, what would you read?
