Minor accomplishments

I have a lot going on at the moment and all the while am thinking, in a loop, I should be writing, I should be writing. (The only way to make it stop is to write.) I can feel the book churning inside me. Not sure if that means it's going to turn into butter. Or maybe ice cream.

However, I did accomplish small things yesterday. I went to the gym and did three sets of fifteen pushups, at least some of the time paying attention to my form, and upped the resistance one notch on the elliptical. I ordered some business cards with the cover of The Duke & The Pirate Queen. I put away my suitcase from Readercon and pulled out the slightly bigger one I will need for RWA, because there are a couple of dressy occasions for that which means extra clothes, and I will be carrying promo materials there and books back. Luckily, I'm taking one of those airlines that allows me a checked suitcase without extra fee. I vacuumed dust off the suitcase. The cat did not like this. I sprayed stuff in the suitcase's interior and left it open because it smelled faintly weird from being closed for so long. I started reading another of my research books for the World War One werewolf marriage of convenience novel.

Loligo liked The Moonlight Mistress, which made my day.

And I am going to play with the small monkeys tonight.
