BPAL: Shadow

Macmillan aryballos
Bewitching Brews
Shadow

A subtly menacing blend of lemon verbena, white sandalwood and cedar, dimmed by droplets of the darkest patchouli.
Sent to me from oyceter.

Vial: Cedar, maybe a hint of patchouli but it's a little sweet.

Wet: Cedar, with strong overlay of lemon verbena.

Drydown: The lemon verena has faded, and I smell mostly cedar, perhaps with hints of patchouli and sandalwood, but the blending is very smooth and it's hard to discern.

I wouldn't call it "subtly menacing," but I do like it. I smell like nicely polished wood furniture, maybe with incense stored in one of the drawers.

I rather like the idea of incense stored in one of your drawers. In the form of woody bits, though, it could be a tad uncomfortable.

The Straight Line Bandit (so be careful what you leave hanging out there).
