Preliminary Cowboys and Aliens Thoughts

I saw Cowboys and Aliens last night, and I have many Deep Thoughts about it which I do not have time to write down just now.

I was also suprised and impressed by how many time Daniel Craig's ass, exquisitely framed by leather chaps, featured in the middle of a shot. Nobody else's ass. Only Daniel Craig's.

Hmmm.

The real star of that movie is clearly Daniel Craig's Ass. I am certain it at least deserves higher billing than Harrison Ford.

I agree.

I have a lengthy rant about the movie which I will probably post in my pro blog on Friday.

He has a nice, meaty ass.

Harrison Ford's is not quite so nice.

I kept worrying HF would get broken.

Harrison Ford's is also 16 years older. Let's see how Daniel Craig's ass looks when he's 59.

(But really, Daniel Craig's ass is not notably better than that of many movie stars. I love his magnificent torso, which is notably better than that of other movie stars, and doubly impressive because he's 43 years old.)

And holy crap, I miscounted, HF is 69 years old. Let's see if DC's ass hold up in another quarter century.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the Ford.

But he's always had kind of a scrawny rump.

It was pretty impressive.

I imagine all the careful costume fittings and time taken with the ass shots and I am pleased by their efforts on behalf of those of us who enjoy men's asses.

I remain bitter about Adam Beach's character, though.

He was the only person I really liked in that movie. That was thanks to Adam Beach, not to any characterization, though!

You have seen the poster for the film, yes? They seem to be boosting that asset in particular. Honestly, I can't complain about it too much. :-)

You also might like reading this about the movie, by someone who knows the geography and era very well:

Oh, I did, as soon as I'd seen the movie (she posted her comments before I'd seen it).

Not so deep a thought. :)

Do you blame the movie makers? It's a very fine ass. :) I liked the front shots, too.

My thoughts were about the things that, unlike DC's ass, did not succeed.

He probably had it in his contract. Or somebody else did. "Daniel Craig's ass. No one else's. Or I walk..."

But his ass is the best ass, right? I mean, it's right there on the poster! Truth in advertising!

Was the movie fun? Would I like it?

It had lots of violence, but I felt it lacked depth in many ways.

The ass shots are very, very fine however. Also he takes off his shirt twice.
